Housing Information

Emporia State University has three on-campus dormitories, referred to as residence halls. Some students are required to live in the residence halls. As an international student, you must live on campus if you:
  • Graduated high school less than one year ago
  • Are a degree-seeking student younger than 19 years old at the time of arrival
  • Are a visiting or exchange student younger than 20 years old at the time of arrival
  • Are a student participating in one of the following programs:  ISEP, CBYX, or Halfmester.

All students are welcome to apply to live on campus. However, dependents, such as spouses or children, are not permitted to live in the residence halls. Learn more about living on campus here

More information about on-campus housing and off-campus housing is found in the Pre-arrival Online Orientation.
