Official Transcripts

After you are successfully admitted to an academic degree-seeking program at ESU, you must submit a final, official transcript. The transcript that you uploaded in the online application portal does not count as an official transcript. “Final” means that it shows all courses that were taken with grades earned, and no classes still shown as In Progress. “Official” means that the transcript is issued directly by the school/institution and carries official signatures/seals/etc. Since most schools in other countries do not yet participate in official, electronic delivery, this usually means a hard copy printed and signed by the school. This does not mean a PDF scan that the school gives to you that you then print yourself.

How to Submit Your Official Transcript:
  • Option 1: Bring it physically (sealed and unopened)
  • Option 2: Have your institution send it directly to us
Requirements:
  • Must be in an unopened, sealed envelope
  • Must include entire transcript and proof of graduation/diploma
  • Stamped and signed by the issuing institution
For U.S. University Transfers:
  • Your previous university likely participates in official, electronic delivery and you should be easily able to order an official transcript sent electronically directly to ESU via your student portal from that university. If your previous university does not participate in electronic delivery, then you can order an official hard copy transcript sent directly to us at the address below:
