Kansas State Fair
For the third year in a row, we are going to the Kansas State Fair!
Held in the city of Hutchinson, this annual event has been going on for almost 150 years. People come from all over Kansas to experience the food and the fun!

Meet in front of Plumb Hall at 8:30am
Dress for the weather
Wear good walking shoes
Bring a water bottle
Eat breakfast or take a snack for the bus because it is a two hour drive to Hutchinson.
Expected Costs
Bus Ride: $15 (Pay to OIE, must sign up and pay by September 6, first come, first serve)
Gate Admission: $7 if you buy tickets in advance at Dillion's (which will also save you time at the entrance) or $10 at the gate
Food: Approximately $15-$20
Optional: Carnival rides $3-$5 per ride
Departure time
Bus will leave the fair at 3:30pm and arrive back to ESU at approximately 5:30pm
